Name: Treasure (after my dad who hunted for treasures)

my heart is crushed that I am posting this, but I need to find a new home for my dog. He has been living with my ex-husband, who is no longer able to care for him (and he will not be finding him a home.) I am stepping in to make sure he goes to the right person, not just anyone.

He is a very big dog (XXL) with a calm, easygoing nature. He’s great with other dogs, good with kids, and loves the people he knows. He can be a little reserved with strangers at first but warms up with kindness and patience. He loves to sleep in bed with you for part of the night and then will move to the floor.

He does not need early morning wake-ups : if you sleep in, he’s happy to sleep in too. He enjoys companionship but doesn’t require a high energy lifestyle. Car rides aren’t his favorite, so a home where he doesn’t need to travel often would be good. Please have experience with large dogs.
