Meet Dakotah, a handsome 3-year-old medium-haired tuxedo who has never given up on finding the loving family he deserves. After being abandoned in the country, he found his way to the nearest home and quickly won the heart of a kind 10-year-old boy who tirelessly advocated for him. Thanks to that compassion, Dakotah is now safe in rescue—and thriving.
Dakotah has been nothing but sweet, gentle, and affectionate. He loves to play and gets along wonderfully with the other cats in his foster home. He’s eager to bond, eager to love, and eager to finally feel like he belongs.
He is still working on refining his table manners, so he’ll need a patient family willing to help him continue learning. But with his big heart and loving personality, he’s more than worth the effort.
Dakotah is currently fostered in Becker, MN, and he’s ready to fill your home—and your heart—with warmth, companionship, and joy.
