Lucky is truly the sweetest cat we have ever met.
She was abandoned by our neighbors, left outside when they moved away. Having always been an indoor cat, Lucky was confused, terrified, and completely unprepared for life outdoors. She was injured by feral cats in the neighborhood, so we brought her in to keep her safe and loved.
For a time, we found her a wonderful home with a kind woman from my wife's Bible study. Sadly, after a year, she had to return Lucky to us, at 91 years old, she simply could no longer care for her.
Lucky is an absolute gem. She loves to be picked up, is a true lap kitty, and enjoys being close to people. She is gentle, easy to bathe, well-trained, and never scratches. Most of all, she adores human companionship, she is happiest when she can be near someone who loves her back.
Her perfect home would be one where she can be the only cat, with someone who is looking for a loyal, affectionate companion. Lucky isn't shy or skittish.
She is only 4 years old.
