Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I'm Thor! I am a 2-year-old male husky. I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. I am a foster-to-adopt candidate until all of my medical regiments are completed.
3 words that describe me: Shy, Smart, Handsome
Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm nervous meeting new people, although I seem to prefer women and warm up to them faster. I'm not really food or toy motivated, but I LOVE being with other dogs! I came from the same home as Ryker who has helped me come out of my shell a little bit. My friends at CRHS think I'd do even better in foster, especially with another dog friend to show me the ropes!
Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10
Housetraining Status: I am very good at keeping my kennel clean, although it may take me some time to adjust to a new potty routine.
I should do well in a home: Due to my reliance on other dogs for comfort, I am required to go into a home with another dog. Any children in my potential home will need to be 10 years or older due to my shy nature. I did great with cats in my foster home, given proper introductions.
My favorite activities are: Running around outside with Ryker, lounging in a comfy spot, and cuddling up with my favorite people.
Things I need work on are: Building confidence and basic commands.
Any special needs: N/A
Doggy day out notes:
"Thor did amazing on his DD outing! He is coming more out of his shell being out with me. Moving slow with him and low activity places are what Thor likes. He is a bit shy but warmed up to me fairly quick. Thor is so much fun to hang out with💙 I have no doubt he will do amazing in a home"
"Thor did amazing on his DD outing! He is very curious and loves to sniff on walks and just being out. I've taken him on a few outings and he has really gained confidence and trusting me as his human and the outside world. Super great pup who I love hanging out with💙 He will do great in a home environment!"
Daycare Status: N/A
My adoption fee is: $300
Training Requirement if applicable: N/A
