My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patty is a one-of-a-kind little cat with a big personality! She’s full of spunk, sparkle, and silly antics - always ready to explore, chase, and pounce her way through the day. Her favorite things in the world? Feather toys, bright neon balls, and anything that shimmers or sparkles. If it moves, Patty’s on it!
This bright girl does have some vision and hearing impairments, but don’t be fooled - she navigates her world like a pro. She just appreciates a bit of extra guidance when it comes to things like litterbox setup, touch sensitivity, and making new friends.
Patty is a confident communicator who knows exactly what she wants. She enjoys a good play session far more than cuddles - at least at first. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll happily accept gentle pets on her terms. Her soft little chirps are her way of saying she’s having fun or just checking in.
She’s all about small spaces, sneaky pounces, and speedy zooms - acting like a kitten every chance she gets. Patty would thrive in a calm, cat-experienced mature home that understands her subtle signals and celebrates her playful, curious nature.
Big personality, little cat, endless entertainment — that’s Patty. A total catch and a true original.

Please take a moment to review our Adoption Policy prior to applying to adopt a pet.

CHS accepts multiple applications on each animal, we are not first come first serve. Our team of adoption counselors will help matchmake every individual pet and family to ensure the best fit for all.

Must be 21 to adopt with a valid driver's license or state ID card.

We ask all members of the household to meet the new pet, some pets require multiple visits to build necessary relationships.

To align with our mission of solving the homeless pet crisis, all household pets must be spayed and neutered, up to date on necessary vaccinations, and live in the same household as the adopter. If not currently established with a veterinarian, a vet deposit will be required.

Cats and dogs adopted from CHS are indoor only.

Every pet is an individual, and many have individual needs such as : post adoption training (included with adoption), multiple meet and greets to feel comfortable, medical needs, etc. Our adoption counselors will communicate these needs with all interested families.

CHS will not begin adoption process with an individual when:

A person is reasonably believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Landlord or residence does not allow pets, or the living situation does not accommodate consistency for the pet (e.g. student housing, four unrelated adults living together, ect.)

Applications may be denied for any reason, including but not limited to an individual failing to comply with conditions of past adoption.
