My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hi to Max, a nearly 2-year-old Hound mix who’s equal parts goofball and sweetheart. With his expressive eyes, floppy ears, and endless enthusiasm for life, Max is the kind of dog who makes every day brighter.

He’s playful, social, and loves to explore — whether it’s a walk around the block, a romp in the yard, or sniffing out new scents on a trail. True to his hound roots, Max’s nose leads the way, but his heart always follows right behind.

This young guy is eager to find a family who’ll keep him active, give him plenty of affection, and let him be his happy, tail-wagging self. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’ll make you smile every single day, Max is ready to join the adventure!

Foster Update: " He gets along with cats but he may give chase, he is inquisitive about them. He gets along very well with my dog. He is crate trained and he has had only one accident in the house and that’s when it snowed."
