My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

HEDGEHOG was found on a local property living under a shed with her mum, Deer and her sisters (Squirrel and Chipmunk) and she’s now searching for her forever home. She’s had her first vaccine, Revolution, a microchip and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. Her spay, 2nd vaccine and rabies shot are all booked for November 18th and the details of which are noted at the bottom of this post. Even though this little lady was found living outside and came into the rescue at just 4 weeks of age, she’s super affectionate and loves to be snuggled. She has a lovely disposition and an adventurous side to her too. She loves to chase after the kitty toys she finds in her foster home and also hang out in the cat tree, where she’ll also curl up and take a nap. It should also be noted what beautiful, unique colouring she has and it has been said that she’s a Marble Tabby and her fur is actually a bit darker than her pictures show and they really don’t do that uniqueness.

HEDGEHOG has used the litter box since day one in foster care as she’s such a smart little girl. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food, have her water nice and cold plus she loves to have treats. She’s in a foster home with a dog so she would suit a home with one as long as it’s cat savvy and as always, we recommend a slow, monitored introduction be made between them. She has her sibling plus a few other cats in her foster home so we feel she would best suit being with another cat. Saying that though she can be an only cat as long as she’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals.
HEDGEHOG has her spay booked for November 18th at the Barrie SPCA where she’ll also receive her 2nd vaccine and rabies shot. Her adopter must be available to take her to that appointment and the adoption will not be final until after her vetting has been completed. Drop off will be at 7:15am and pick up at 3pm the same day (that will be confirmed the morning of.)
If HEDGEHOG sounds like she’ll be a good match for you and your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her.
