My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: St Paul, MN

This spirited guy is ready for a new home! Just give him an outlet for his energy and he'll happily curl up on the couch next to you. Salvador is smart, spunky, and knows how to sit, stay, and come. He enjoys being around people, so someone who works from home would be a good fit for him. Salvador loves to chase a ball and play with toys! He is friendly and affectionate with adults, and loves being the center of attention. Salvador will gently rest his head in your lap and use those big brown eyes to ask politely to be petted. He enjoys car rides, and while it wasn't his favorite thing, he was a perfect gentleman for a bath. He is crate trained & working on walking with a loose leash.

Salvador will thrive best with a 6' fenced yard and an experienced handler who can manage his high energy. He has a very strong prey drive, so no cats please! He pulls hard on walks and can be reactive when he sees other dogs or small animals behind fences or while out walking. With some time and patience, this can continue to improve.

Salvador is not comfortable around children and requires an adults-only home.

Apply now and set up a meet-and-greet with his foster!

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
