Dog Name: Kaleb

Sex: Male

Estimated Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix

Date of Birth: 8/30/25

Approximate Weight: 21 lbs

Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet Neutered (too young)

Description:

Kaleb and his siblings were rescued before they were even born when their mom was found abandoned and in need of a safe place to have her babies. Kaleb is one of the lucky little survivors and he has been making the most of his second chance.

Kaleb is the sweetest little floppy pup with the most squish-able face you will ever see. He does wonderfully with kids and thrives when he has other doggy role models. He is learning every day that he is safe and loved!

Kaleb naps hard after any adventure and is discovering more about the world every day. He listens beautifully to gentle corrections and is already getting the hang of recall, which is very impressive for such a young pup! He is almost fully potty trained! Crate time can still be stressful for him because he would much rather curl up beside you to sleep, but he is improving. He has mastered sit and is now learning come, lay down and has become a pro at walking on the leash.

Kaleb is such a gentle and sweet boy who will do anything for a treat. He is a breeze to train and makes the cutest little puppy grunts when he knows a treat is coming. Some of his favorite things include pouncing on toys, chewing on bones, drinking any water he can find, and melting into neck scratches. With his loving nature, eager-to-learn personality, and relaxed demeanor, Kaleb is sure to grow into an amazing companion for any family willing to show him love!

Adoption Fee: $550

We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433

***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians.

Our Weight Classes are as follows:
0- 25lbs - Small
26- 45lbs - Medium
46-89 - Large
90+ X-large

If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following:

Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped.

If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.

Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home.

If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home.

If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all.

Please go to
WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.

Additional adoption info

To begin our adoption process, please visit http://www.tailwaggers911.com/howtoadoptapet.htm - there you can read more about our policies, our adoption area and fill out an online application. The applications are good for 90 days.

After being approved, you will receive an email and if the dog you are interested in is available, the foster for the dog will be in contact to set up a meet and greet to determine if this is the correct dog for your family/lifestyle. If so, you could begin our mandatory 5 day foster to adopt trial period, and if you decided to adopt, we would set up your home visit.
