Margot is loving and playful 14 month-old German Shepherd/Husky mix sweetie. She is spayed and up to date with all her vaccines. Margot enjoys spending time outdoors and especially loved our recent ice storm. She is high energy but settles well in the evening and sleeps through the night in her crate. She is soft and snuggly and loves to be kissed all over her face. She has been taught to sit before eating and going in and out and now does it automatically without being asked. She is sassy though and likes to talk back when told to do something. She’ll do it but likes to complain about it first. She does forward and sideways somersaults when playing with our large dog. She can be dog selective so slow introductions are necessary. She does not do well with small dogs. Margot gets along with children, but she prefers older children. Margot also does great at the vet, so long as you don`t try to restrain her. She will let the vet give her shots and take blood fine so long as you provide her whipped cream and a licking mat. Apartment living would not be appropriate for Margot. She needs space and a yard to play. She would be fine as the only dog in the home. She will make a make a wonderful pet as she loves playing and snuggling with her people.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
