My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, meet Nala. A gray Tabby cat. She’s a brave girl who has been through a lot lately. On 10/15, she was rescued from a house fire that left her owner with severe burns. Her owner can’t care for her anymore, and Nala’s heartbroken over it. She’s a super independent cat who never gets into trouble, but once she picks you as her person, she’s all about curling up on your lap and kneading away. She also loves to sleep with you at night. right next to you, making sure she’s close.

Right now, Nala’s a little shaken up. She hides, she shivers, and we hear her meowing alone at night, missing the person she’s always known, it breaks our hearts to see her that way. But deep down, she’s still the loving, snuggly cat she’s always been; she just needs a home where she can feel safe again. Oh and once she bonds with you, Nala’s got your back, she’s a loyal and protective companion who’ll make sure no one shows any hostility toward her human, she used to yell at whoever angered my aunt, it was precious. Though she’s not a kitten anymore, at just 3 years old she’s still full of affection, and a lifetime of love to give. Nala is also spayed and ready to find her forever home!

I’m her owner’s niece, and while we’re doing what we can for her, we’ve got a dog that’s not really a fan of cats, so Nala can’t stay here long. We’re really hoping to find her a forever home where she can heal and be loved again.

If you’re looking for a sweet, calm companion who just needs a little time and patience, could be your perfect match. She’s got so much love to give, she just needs someone to give her the chance. ❤️ please spread the word

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a very small foster based rescue. At this time animals can be met at their foster home with an approved application or a planned event.

More about this rescue

Go Fetch LA a dedicated community of dog lovers working to keep dogs out of overcrowded shelters.

During the pandemic, many Americans found comfort in bringing home new four-legged companions. Now, as COVID-19 restrictions have loosened and new pet parents return to work and their normal routines, shelters are seeing a high number of pets being surrendered.

Go Fetch LA increases awareness of rescue dogs being wonderful pets by hosting community events and helping dogs (and their families) in need. We offer help with food, training, exercise and boarding options to help keep dogs in their homes and a very small foster based rescue program to help reduce the euthanization rate.
