My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cute but Complicated 😅
Fluffy’s cute, but he’s also a little complicated — and that’s okay! This Golden Spaniel mix is smart, playful, and full of personality, but he needs time and patience to feel safe with new people. If you rush things, he’ll let you know (he’s not shy about setting boundaries, and yes, that can include a warning nip).
Once you earn his trust, Fluffy transforms into the sweetest, silliest, most loyal sidekick. He loves his toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and will keep you laughing with his goofy antics.
Fluffy does best in an adult-only home with someone who understands that building trust takes time. We ask that potential adopters visit him here at the rescue several times before taking him home so you can start your bond on the right paw.
We do require visits here to our rescue in Agua Dulce, CA and in-person home checks for all adoptions.

We hold an adoption program every Saturday and Sunday at our sanctuary in Agua Dulce, California, from 11 am to 3 pm.
Several times a year we participate in various adoption events held in and around the Los Angeles area.

More about this rescue

Brittany Foundation is a non profit charity which rescues, rehabilitates, provides housing, and searches for new homes for homeless dogs. We focus on rescuing the harder-to-place dogs, such as pit bulls, chow chows, and older or special needs dogs. We have been successful in placing all types of dogs into loving homes. We are a no-kill facility and dogs stay with us until they are adopted. If they are not adopted, they have a home with us for the remainder of their lives.
