This helps Wolf Trap Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Voodoo Queen ("Voo", Veuve Cliquot", "Veuvey") is a sweet, gentle, and playful little girl who loves snuggles, scritches, and treats more than anything. She’s smart, attentive, and looks to you for guidance. She knows SIT and STAY, and absolutely lights up when she hears “GOOD GIRL.” She may jump when excited, but settles quickly because all she really wants is to be close.
She’s making great progress with potty and crate training. She rarely has accidents and will use a pee pad as a back-up when needed. She’s still learning to feel fully confident in her crate and will occasionally whine when separated, but she’s getting better every day, especially with treats and reassurance. At night, she sleeps happily in bed with us for 6–8 hours without needing a break. She loves to nap at your feet and was calm during her bath.
She absolutely adores people — every person is her new best friend. She’s also wonderfully gentle and curious with other animals, including cats, dogs, and even squirrels (she mostly just tilts her head and watches them). On walks, she trots happily right by your side and gets wiggly with excitement when she sees another dog. She doesn't try to lead — she just wants to be part of the fun.
We go to Starbucks daily for pup cups with the neighborhood dogs I walk and dogsit, and Veuve is the happiest little social butterfly. She wiggles, snuggles, and greets everyone with a hopeful tail wag, like she’s inviting them to join her little fan club.
Voodoo Queen is a star in progress — affectionate, smart, eager to please, and full of love, with not a single diva tendency despite her name.
Adoption Day: November 29th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!
