My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bronco, a 5-year-old, 43-pound handsome boy who hasn’t outgrown his puppy playfulness. This playful, friendly guy is ready to jump right into your heart! Quite literally! Bronco has a rough play style, but loves to play, soak up attention, and share his energetic spirit with everyone he meets. He’s still working on his manners and would love a family who can offer him patience, guidance, structure, and lots of love as he continues to learn and grow into the best boy he can be. Come and meet Bronco today! He has the most gorgeous blue eyes!

Darby Haas (Link Up Dog Training) in Franklin KY offers discounted training rates for any adopted shelter dog. 2 sessions for the price of 1. Her sessions are already very affordable, but this is an incredible opportunity to spend bonding time with your dog & learn together. General obedience, manners, leash training. Darby offers training that can lead to the AKC Good Canine Citizen certification.

More about this shelter

Our goal is to help find homes for all the animals that come into the Simpson County Animal Shelter. We work with the community to educate and promote spay/neuter initiatives.

We work with several Petco stores to help find homes for the many cats that enter our shelter. We participate in adoption events to place dogs and work with rescue groups to save as many lives as possible. We encourage our community to visit and adopt and our community leaders to stand with us in making this shelter a success in saving lives instead of euthanizing. We are a small shelter (16 dog runs) to serve a county of 17,000 and often that can be very challenging.
