Matilda was found as a stray in SC. We pulled her from the shelter and she arrived in NH in October. She’s about 9 months old, 34lbs, has short legs and lots of rolls - maybe part bulldog? She’s spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines.
She is SO sweet and gentle and polite. She likes stuffed toys, treats, knows “sit,” and has been doing well meeting new people. She is sometimes shy at first but warms up quickly. Matilda has the silliest zoomies!
She’s very playful with other dogs, and likes to wrestle. But also respects their space if they get grumpy.
She’s still not sure about car rides and has to be picked up to go in or out of vehicles, though she’s very calm when in the car. She’s overall been very quiet. She does fine when crated. She’s doing pretty well with potty training and goes outside consistently, but still needs to go out every 2-3 hours to avoid accidents right now.
Her right eye has a cloudy spot in it, which our vet thinks might be congenital or from an old puncture to her eye. Either way, she does have visibility in that eye and it isn’t cause for concern, but her vision likely has a blurred spot in it. It doesn’t affect her cuteness though!
