Kaiden is a sweet, gentle, and passive kitten who has won over the adult foster cats in his foster home. He is a clumsy kitten who almost broke his ankle when he fell out of his kennel (don’t worry-we took X-rays!). He relies on other cats for safety and would do well with a confident adult who wants a cleaning and cuddling partner. He is one of our infamous ‘base babies’ who comes from Travis AFB, CA. This colony is a labor of love that we have diligently managed for over a decade to reduce the unwanted cats who are at risk on federal land. The government doesn’t believe in TNR and people often leave their cats behind or let them roam on bases-and yes, we track them down and hold them accountable for these actions. Kaiden needs time and space to warm up and may do best with considerate adults.

Our Hero Academy students earn a cape after completing basic litter box, nail trimming, scratching post, and carrier training with our expert volunteers. Fosters are microchipped, combo tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/parasites, and receive age/wellness appropriate vaccines. We lovingly pack a Welcome Home Hero gift bag with their favorite toys, treats, a comic to read with them, and a blanket that helps them feel safe anywhere they go. Super Furiends Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization located in Solano County, CA.

More about this rescue
We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
