While he appreciates the care he receives, he's still unsure about his surroundings and longs for a quiet, loving home where he can truly relax and show his affectionate side. Aladdin would thrive in a calm environment, ideally with someone who understands the patience needed to let a shy cat blossom at their own pace. I have had some problems with my skin that seems to be related to a flea sensitivity/allergy. I have been treated, but to keep me comfortable going forward, I will need to stay on some form of flea preventative ongoing all year long. Fleas can be a problem in the winter too, even if I don't spend much time outside or stay indoors all the time - fleas can find their way into homes, apartments, or condos any time of the year, and just a bite or two can make me very uncomfortable.

We are a government agency that enforces Michigan State Law, however, we do operate a shelter to house all the stray and relinquished animals from our service area as well as contracting with nine other municipalities to house and adopt their stray and relinquished animals.
