My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bambi “Babs” (aka Miss B)
At 14 years young, Miss B is full of love, spirit, and a touch of sass! This beautiful Weimaraner-Pit mix may be a senior, but she still enjoys her little walks, stroller rides, and even the occasional “zoomie” when she’s feeling playful.
Babs has hip dysplasia and mild cataracts, and she’s mostly deaf — though she can still hear claps or higher-pitched sounds. With her joint medication, she moves comfortably around the house and loves to join in on slow adventures.
She’s sweet, independent, and just a little sassy when she doesn’t get her way — and she’ll happily trade attitude for soft treats! Babs is good with dogs, cats, and children, though she’d likely be happiest in a home with older or no kids, where she can enjoy peace and gentle company.
Babs is housebroken, up to date on all vaccines, and sleeps well in her kennel at night (though she gets stressed if left locked in alone). Her ideal home would be single-level, with a fenced yard for safe exploring and someone nearby to keep her company outdoors — especially at night or if the yard has steps or drop-offs.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion with a young heart, soft eyes, and a bit of sparkle and sass, Miss B is ready to make your home her forever home.

If you're interested in meeting Miss B, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.

Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application.
Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Miss B into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155

The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.

More about this rescue

People’s Anti Cruelty Association / Albuquerque Animal Rescue (PACA), a No-Kill rescue group, was founded in 1973. Our main mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehouse homeless dogs and cats. PACA has no shelter facility and relies on an organized network of foster parents who graciously take animals into their homes and hearts until permanent homes are found.
