I am Elvira, an endlessly curious kitty. I love to follow you around from room to room. I`ll roll dramatically on the floor, sleep at the foot of your bed, and show off my playful side with lasers, strings, or bouncy balls. However, I usually prefer to admire you from afar. You can only pet me while I`m eating. But my quirky charm will quickly win you over. With patience—and Scraps showing me the joy of a good belly rub— I make strides in confidence every day.
Speaking of my BFF Scraps, we are a package deal! We love to wrestle, cuddle, chase, and we will absolutely entertain you. Together, we are the perfect combo of playful chaos and sweet companionship.
I am a `work-in-progress` cat. When I first came to Carmah, I was extremely shy but the volunteers saw possibilities in me. My foster and I have been making progress together. I want to find a home where I have the space and time to continue the process. When I first move to your home, I will probably hide while I get used to household rhythms, smells, sounds, and routines. I will slowly come out of my shell as I learn to trust you. I may always hide when new people arrive, or I might start to enjoy their company as well. I will reward your patience with loyalty and companionship.
