I`m Onyx a sweet and sleek boy kitty. I`m calm. I`m great with other cats and I`d be a wonderful buddy to a cat who needs a friend. I love to play, especially with the track ball toy. I like people, but I prefer just a few people at a time. I do enjoy hanging out with you, but right now you can touch me only rarely.
I am a `work-in-progress` cat. When I first came to Carmah, I was extremely shy but the volunteers saw possibilities in me. My foster and I have been making progress together. I want to find a home where I have the space and time to continue the process. When I first move to your home, I will probably hide while I get used to household rhythms, smells, sounds, and routines. I will slowly come out of my shell as I learn to trust you. I may always hide when new people arrive, or I might start to enjoy their company as well. I will reward your patience with loyalty and companionship.
