This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Dogs) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Fannie was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on September 24, 2025.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Fannie! This shy girl takes her time to warm up, and while she's become more comfortable with familiar friends, she can still feel unsure around new people. She's a pup who appreciates her space and a calm, predictable environment, but once she feels safe and builds that special bond, she truly blossoms. While she prefers to set the pace, Fannie discovers that she enjoys attention and petting, once she trusts you, and she will even happily hop into your lap for dedicated cuddle time - on her terms, of course! When she isn't relaxing, she loves to show off her spunky side by playing with her favorite toys or joyfully rolling around in the grass. Fannie will do best in a quiet home without the hustle and bustle of young kids (under 14), where her boundaries are respected. If you believe in giving dogs patience, respect and understanding, Fannie may be the perfect match for you! She can't wait to show you her more confident, spunky side!
At SDHS:
Fannie has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home!
Shy/Fearful Dog: Fannie requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her.
