My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This inseparable bonded pair came to us after their owner sadly passed away, and their remaining family was elderly and unable to care for them. These two boys estimated to be about 5 years old have a bond so strong it’s impossible to separate them. Jabba, the fawn pug, and Yoda, the black pug, are each lovable on their own, but together they are simply unstoppable - double the cuddles, double the snuggles, and double the joy!

Jabba and Yoda are always side by side, keeping each other company and offering comfort in a new environment. Jabba weighs about 20 pounds, and Yoda is a chunky 35 pounds. Yoda has been doing well adjusting to a healthy diet to lose some weight, and he’ll need a dedicated owner to help him stay on track so he can enjoy a long, happy life.

Personality-wise, these two are so great. Jabba can be a little more energetic and shy with new people, but he blossoms once he feels safe and loved. Yoda is steady, calm, and always ready to snuggle, providing the perfect balance to his brother’s exuberance. Both boys do well with other dogs and have had positive experiences with children, and they thrive when given patient, loving humans who understand their past and their bond.

It’s hard not to fall in love with these two. They’ve been through a lot recently, but they are full of love, loyalty, and that special pug charm. If you’re ready for double the laughter, cuddles, and love, these boys are waiting to meet you! After all, what’s better than one pug? Two! Give Jabba & Yoda a chance and your heart will be over the moon. Interested in these special brothers? Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
