My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Journey is a 4-year-old female Husky mix who has already been spayed.  She was found as a stray at Journey Church--hence the name--Journey.  Her owner never came looking for her. Journey has a black coat with tan markings; and she has one blue eye and one brown eye!  Her tail curls stylishly over her back!  She weighs 49 pounds; so she is a large dog.  She is energetic and active; and we recommend she be in a home with older children.  This playful dog is an attention hog and loves all the kindness being shown to her by staff and volunteers.  Journey is good with most dogs; but, if you have another dog we would suggest you bring your dog out for a meet and greet with her.  Journey is a trip--in a good way!

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
