Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB: Aug 20, 2019
Amichi is located in Vaughan, ON
Meet Amichi; this former stray and now full time cuddle bug likes nothing more than cozying up to her human for a good ol’ head massage, chin scratches, belly rubs and yes, even welcomes butt pats/kitty bongs! Beyond that sweet demeanour; this girl is a hustler too. She’s recently started covering her share of the rent with her first tentative steps to biscuit making on her foster’s belly and providing quiet purrs to ensure they go sound asleep at bedtime before attending to other matters.
Amichi hasn’t found what toys she likes just yet, but she loves the stimulation in learning a new trick, especially if treats are involved. She’ll hi-five, fist-bump, sit on command… heck, even let you trim her daggers if she thinks there’s a reward to be had. She’s itching to learn something new… how to hand…er..paw shake next perhaps?
She can be quite the gourmand, so it’s best to feed her at regular schedules in small quantities with slow feeder bowls & lick mats. Moreover, she loves the chase, so her foster has been using the opportunity to get her exercise in by tossing around her kibble and watch her amusingly scramble for it.
Amichi has been diagnosed with a grade II-III heart murmur - A heart murmur is caused by turbulent blood flow within the heart and is a result of an underlying condition such as stress, or a structural problem within the heart. Some heart murmurs in cats can be benign, requiring no treatment, while others may require future interventions such as medication or a specialized diet. It is important to have your cat regularly monitored by a veterinarian.
This girl is a confident kitty, curious to explore her surroundings and warming up quickly to new faces. Her foster thinks with a little more time and in a loving home, Amichi’s personality will shine even brighter!
