Five-year-old Jake Boy is a gentle, fawn sweetheart with the soul of a snuggler and the heart of a best friend. This laid-back gentleman is a true Velcro pug—he wants to be wherever you are, preferably tucked right by your side. His foster mom says Jake Boy has started to show his playful side now that he feels safe and loved. He is house-trained (with the occasional “oops”), crate-trained, and knows how to use the back door’s magnetic screen to go outside. Jake Boy eats politely—though he prefers if you stand nearby for moral support—and enjoys plush and chew toys in moderation. He walks nicely on a leash and adores gentle children, especially his foster’s 11-year-old daughter. Because he tends to seek out a quiet spot instead of engage with loud or rowdy dogs, Jake Boy would do best in a quiet, loving home as an only dog or with a calm canine companion.
