My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**HEARTWORM POSITIVE**

🐾 Meet Toma! 🐾

Toma is a 5½-year-old sweetheart who seems to be a friendly, social dog ready to make new friends. 🐶💛 He enjoys meeting people and sharing affection with a patient, loving family. 🤗✨

Toma is currently Heartworm positive 🩺💛 and is being treated for Heartworm Disease. As part of his treatment, he must be strictly confined with very limited activity for four weeks following his third melarsomine injection. This means no running, jumping, or playing with people or other animals during this period. Short leash walks in cool weather are allowed. 🚶‍♂️❄️

⚠️ Important: Failure to follow these recommendations may result in sudden death.

With patience, careful management, and a calm, loving home, Toma can recover safely and continue to show his friendly, social personality. 🌟🐕 If you're ready to give Toma a supportive home during his treatment, he could be your perfect companion! ❤️
