My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

My mom and us kittens were unwanted in a neighborhood with a bunch of unaltered, free roaming cats and dogs. Someone contacted our foster mom and asked if she would be willing to take us and make sure we were safe and taken care of.

My mom is Daisy. She is young and way to young to be having kittens, She is a great mom, super sweet and very friendly. My siblings are Luke, Ash and Max.

We are super sweet kittens but can still be a little shy sometimes. We will still need some time to adjust to a new home as sometimes we still get scared. A quiet, less active household would probably be best. We like sleeping in our foster mom's bed. We have fun playing with the other cats and have finally gotten used to the two big dogs in the house.

We love canned cat food as a treat and getting Temptation Cat treats each morning when our foster mom wakes up.

We enjoy furry mice, small balls, cat nip toys and fish pole toys.

We are currently eating IAMs Dry Kitten food and using Scoop Away scoopable cat litter.

My foster home is located in Denton County.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations.

We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.

To fill out an application online or to find out more information about our adoption process, just go to jbspetrescue.rescuegroups.org and click on the 'Adoption' link.

Additional adoption info

In order to adopt one of our cats or dogs, you will be asked to complete an adoption application which you can do online at any time or in person at our Adopt-A-Pet/Meet & Greet events. Adoption approval also requires that your current pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. Dogs must also be current on heartworm preventative.

If you've completed an application online, it will be forwarded to the animal’s foster parent and they will contact you within 24 hours or sooner. Please be patient, we are all volunteers and most of us have full-time jobs as well as family responsibilities and activities to consider. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please call (214) 681-6968 or send an email to jbsrescue@gmail.com.

We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with habits and behaviors.

In order to adopt, you must permit a home visit from one of our volunteers.

Go meet their pets

All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we do not have a shelter or visiting hours. Some of our animals can be seen at our Adopt-A-Pet/Meet & Greet events and by appointment.
