Shadow is a smart dog with a loving nature and a strong bond to his people. He has lived in a foster home with children, is housebroken and crate trained, and shows his intelligence through his eagerness to engage and learn. While he can enjoy time with gentle, like-minded dogs, Shadow truly thrives on human companionship. He enjoys splashing around in pools, belly rubs and playing ball! This 8-year-old black shepherd will do best with a confident owner who can help him manage his strong leash pull, and in return offers deep loyalty and affection.
I am a LOT OF FUN, VERY AFFECTIONATE, and PLAYFUL! !

More about this shelter
Collier County Domestic Animal Services is Collier County's only Open Admission animal shelter, accepting thousands of animals from all over Collier County - including those that are lost, sick, injured, neglected, abused, confiscated, or surrendered by their families.
Collier County does not euthanize healthy, adoptable, animals for space. However, DAS will not allow animals to suffer - physically or mentally - when there is no other reasonable resource available to help.
DAS has a responsibility to keep our community safe, for both people and animals, and will not knowingly adopt out animals that pose a danger to others.
