Additional adoption info

At Welcome Paws Rescue, our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match between our dogs and their future families. After submitting the application form on our website, our team will review your information to determine if your home and lifestyle align with the needs of the dog you're interested in. If your application is a good fit, we will contact you to schedule a phone or video interview. This is followed by a reference check and, in many cases, a virtual or in-person home visit. Once approved, we’ll work with you to finalize the adoption and arrange transportation or pick-up. Our goal is to support both our dogs and adopters throughout the entire process to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

More about this rescue

Welcome Paws Korean Dog Rescue is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, run entirely by a passionate team of volunteers who are deeply committed to the welfare and well-being of animals. Our mission is to rescue dogs in need and give them a second chance at life.

We believe every animal—regardless of age, size, or breed—deserves to experience love, safety, and the comfort of a forever home. Through our rescue efforts, we work to create brighter futures for these deserving animals, ensuring they have the opportunity to live happy, healthy lives.

Our dedication goes beyond rescue. We work tirelessly to save stray, neglected, abused, and at-risk shelter animals. Each dog in our care lives in a loving foster home and receives full medical attention before being matched with a permanent family.

We also strive to raise awareness about the importance of compassion and responsible pet ownership. By providing adopters with quality education and support, we ensure each adoption is successful and lasting. We don’t measure success in numbers—but in the positive, life-changing impact we make for both animals and the families who welcome them home.
