My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Dolly. Im a sweet little three-year-old whos part of a bonded pair with my best friend, Daisy my sister from another mother. Im a bit shy and feel safest when Daisys by my side. I recently had puppies, but sadly, when I came to the shelter, they werent with me. My BROC aunties say Im very gentle, loving, and just need time and kindness to feel safe again. Daisy and I are looking for a forever home together where we can heal, be loved, and never be separated. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are housed in foster homes and may be seen by appointment by adopters who have completed our application process.
We hope to partner with our local pet stores for public viewing and we participate regularly in Adoption events like the Home for the Holidays events held annually in June and December at the Irvine Animal Care Center and the Pet Expo which occurs annually in April.

More about this rescue

Bichon Rescue of Orange County (BROC) was organized to address the ever increasing number of senior bichons and other small breeds that are being surrendered by their owners and dropped off at local shelters in Orange County. Through the Seniors for Seniors Program we are committed to cultivating our senior citizens both as volunteer fosters and as adopters. The Seniors for Seniors Program will encourage qualified Senior adopters to adopt senior pups.
We have over fifteen years of combined history in rescue and a team of dedicated volunteers, committed to our Mission.
