Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darlene was surrendered to the shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. She was living with 2 other dogs and is good with new dogs. Darlene lived with kids and is housetrained, affectionate and well-mannered. Darlene will bark at strangers and sounds the alarms for deliveries. She is about 45 pounds, and we are working on cleaning up some skin issues (high quality food and fish oil, with an exam scheduled at vet). She is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She is fostering in southern Riverside County, Calif.

We require an adoption questionnaire (found online at www.PeiPeople.com) from all prospective adopters as well an an adoption contract , home visit and a reasonable adoption fee. We do not have any "free" animals.

Any pets that are not already neutered upon rescue will be neutered before placement into homes, unless a medical condition prohibits surgery.
