SNOWBIRD is our new Chia Pet! We're waiting for her hair to grow back to see what she really looks like! Snowbird is a delightful girl with the most charming, outgoing personality. Sadly she was so infested with fleas that she suffered significant hair loss. The fleas are gone, she's had proper vet care and good nutrition. Her skin is healed up and now she has peach fuzz growing in. So far she appears to be a white dog with tan spots. Our best guess on breed is a labrador retriever/Australian cattle dog type mix. Snowbird is 1 year old and fully grown at 36 pounds. We can't say enough good things about Snowbird, she charms everyone she meets. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Snowbird at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
