Willow is a cat that always wants to be in on the action, preferably in the lead. She keeps her foster family laughing with her proud prance anytime she captures a cat dancer or other toy and carries it away. Her favorite toy is the one that is so hard to capture, the ball in the ball track! When playtime is done Willow loves a good cuddle for her naps. Preferably on a human. If you are looking for a playful cat who will be curious about what you are doing and ready for a lap when it is time to rest, Willow is your girl.
Willow is enthusiastic about everything, including her food. She will eat what is in front of her to the point of making herself sick. Her foster family has found she does best with multiple small meals a day or having food distributed via a toy. Willow loves toys that either hide or slowly distribute food. It is fun and there is food!
Willow needs a friend to join in her play. She enjoys playing with her current foster buddy, Kimberly, but would also do well with another young cat. Especially if it is a cat that lets her take the lead like Kimberly does. You can meet Willow and allow her to fully introduce herself to you at adoption events in Verona.
This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.

Let us know about your family situation, current pets, and the type of pet you are looking for and we can guide you to animals that would be a great match.
Our primary adoption site is the Angel’s Wish Pet Adoption and Resource Center at 161 Horizon Drive, Suite 106 in Verona-just a few minutes from Madison. Visit adoptable animals, and get acquainted in private visiting rooms. Open hours are Saturdays 10am to 4pm and Sundays 1pm to 4pm.

Why are we called Angel's Wish?
Lois Lawrence, a founding member of Angel's Wish, once rescued a kitten from a construction site. Weak with starvation, dehydration, and a severe upper respiratory infection, neither veterinary treatment nor Lois’ love and care could save the kitten from the effects of that hot June day. Angel died that night in Lois' arms. We believe that Angel's Wish would have been that no other animal be subjected to pain, suffering, abandonment or neglect.

We divert animals from ever arriving at area shelters, and as space allows, assist rescue groups and shelters. We accept only animals we have space to care for, and euthanize only for severe medical or temperament reasons. Animals stay in their current home or are cared for in volunteer foster homes until adoptive homes are found.
