My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is demure, she is mindful. She is a little shy at first (but will happily accept pets and chin scratches from any stranger), but her gentle, calm, and mature personality shows even once she is comfortable. She is *not* one of those cats that will destroy furniture or knock things off the shelf, demanding her guardian's attention. She will peacefully sleep next to you with her tummy up to show that she trusts you. She will gently rub up on your legs and wait while you prepare her food. She will chirp softly to you to tell you how much she loves you. She will sing to you gently in the morning to tell you how much she missed you. She is the cat who will lovingly support and console you after a difficult day at your job or when you are bedridden from being sick--the most perfect emotional support kitty!

As demure as she is, she is very active when she has her zoomies. She loves playing in pop-up tents, running around, and wrestling with her babies. After she zooms, she loves to groom herself and fall asleep in a concave bed.

Adopting Betty means you will receive endless and unconditional love, support, and protection. She is a wonderful fit for anyone seeking a loyal and loving companion. She shows a maternal love to those she cares about to an unprecedented level--greed or possessiveness are words she is completely unfamiliar with. Another cat can steal her favorite meal or treat she is chowing down on, or the bed she's slept in for hours and hours, and she is not only happy to share but will lovingly cuddle with and groom them. She would be an excellent partner to any resident cat(s), especially those that are high energy.
