Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location
Jersey is a ~7–8 year old shepherd mix who’s had a tough road but is ready for her happy ending. She came to us at the end of September after being picked up by OPD as a stray. Her worn-down teeth and nervousness on a leash tell us she hasn’t had it easy — but this girl has come such a long way already.
Jersey has started her heartworm treatment and is on the road to better health. She can be a bit nippy at times, so a home without small children would be the best fit for her.
At around 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion who just needs someone to show her that the rest of her life can be full of comfort, love, and kindness.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
