Sabrina is 1 pound of fur and pure chaos management. She doesn’t walk into rooms — she owns them. If you hear something crash at 3 a.m., she’ll stare you dead in the eye as if you broke it. Her hobbies include knocking important items off tables, judging your life choices, and demanding attention only to walk away the second you give it.
She accepts snuggles strictly on her schedule, eats treats like royalty, and believes every closed door is a personal insult. She’s not just a kitten — she’s a lifestyle, a warning, and a menace wrapped in whiskers.

More about this shelter
We are the only Animal Shelter aound in a 4 county area in a small rural town. Our Shelter is operated by the Humane Society of Lincoln County. We are dedicated to providing proper and humane treatment of all animals that come thru our doors. The Society was formed in 1985 by people distressed over the conditions at the local animal pound and concerned about the needs of orphaned, neglected and abused animals in the city and county. At that time, the Society took over the operation of an Animal Shelter and the investigation of all animal cruelty cases. This is work which we continue to do.
Your participation is vital to our mission. Please join our fast growing list of "Friends of the Shelter". Annual dues are $35.00 and that (and our fund raisers) help offset the tremendous cost of running the shelter. The greater the enrollment, the louder our voice in defense of all animals.
We are constantly looking for volunteers to help with the animals in our Shelter, or if that isn't for you, we are constantly doing fundraisers, and can always use help with those. If you are willing to help in any way, transporting animals, picking them up at the vets, washing dogs, running errands...we can always find a perfect spot to fit your talents.
