Patch was apparently abandoned in our neighborhood and was starving and flea infested. We have been sheltering him for about a month. He is such a sweet natured, affectionate animal (wants to be a lap dog!), that we were tempted to keep him. The reality is that having a dog right now is not possible for us.
Although a youngster (veterinarian said 8-9 months), Patch shows great potential in terms of training. He loves other dogs and is not aggressive towards our cats. He is fully house trained, has been wormed and is awaiting an appointment to be neutered. Heart worm test was neg. and he has been started on 3-way preventative.
Please consider adopting Patch and giving him the kind, loving guidance that will allow him to grow into his full potential.
