My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷♡
🐶✨ Meet Sinbi – The Gentle and Loving Jindo Mix with a Mother’s Heart 💕

🐾 Name: Sinbi
🎂 Age: 2 years
🚺 Gender: Female (Spayed)
⚖️ Weight: 11.5 kg (≈25 lbs)
🐕 Breed: Jindo Mix
🎨 Color: Cream White
💉 Health: Fully vaccinated / Spayed / Healthy

💗 Personality & Charm

Sinbi is a warmhearted and affectionate girl who always knows how to make others feel comfortable.
She loves people — especially younger adults — and quickly bonds even with strangers after a few treats. 🍪
When she’s happy, she wiggles her whole body and rolls over for belly rubs! 💞

She’s gentle and considerate toward other dogs, often giving up her spot or toy for them.
She’s the type of dog who brings calm energy and kindness wherever she goes. 🌷

Very curious but gentle. If a cat swats at her, she immediately backs off and pretends nothing happened. 😄

🏡 Training & Habits

🚽 Potty: Both indoor (artificial grass on balcony) and outdoor trained
🧺 Crate: Learns well! Feels uneasy when the door is closed but settles down soon and naps quietly.
⚡ Energy Level: Moderate indoors / Playful when with dog friends
🤲 Handling: Loves being touched and petted
🚗 Car rides: Enjoys going out but may drool slightly — rests her chin by the window for fresh air
💬 Barking: Rare, only in response to unusual sounds
🐾 Separation: No anxiety, prefers sleeping in the same room as her person

💔 Her Rescue Story

Sinbi was rescued from Gokseong Shelter with her three puppies.
After two other mother dogs passed away there, Sinbi took in seven orphaned pups as her own,
nursing and protecting them all until they were safe. 🥺
When her puppies were weaned, Sinbi herself was placed on the euthanasia list —
but rescuers couldn’t leave behind this brave and gentle mom,
so she and all her babies were saved together. 💕

🌼 Sinbi’s Ideal Family

Sinbi would be perfect for a loving family who values calm companionship and gentle affection.
She’s social, loyal, and incredibly nurturing — a true sweetheart with a heart of gold.
If you’re looking for a dog who will quietly stay by your side and love you endlessly,
Sinbi is waiting for you. 💖

Additional adoption info

At Welcome Paws Rescue, our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match between our dogs and their future families. After submitting the application form on our website, our team will review your information to determine if your home and lifestyle align with the needs of the dog you're interested in. If your application is a good fit, we will contact you to schedule a phone or video interview. This is followed by a reference check and, in many cases, a virtual or in-person home visit. Once approved, we’ll work with you to finalize the adoption and arrange transportation or pick-up. Our goal is to support both our dogs and adopters throughout the entire process to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

More about this rescue

Welcome Paws Korean Dog Rescue is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, run entirely by a passionate team of volunteers who are deeply committed to the welfare and well-being of animals. Our mission is to rescue dogs in need and give them a second chance at life.

We believe every animal—regardless of age, size, or breed—deserves to experience love, safety, and the comfort of a forever home. Through our rescue efforts, we work to create brighter futures for these deserving animals, ensuring they have the opportunity to live happy, healthy lives.

Our dedication goes beyond rescue. We work tirelessly to save stray, neglected, abused, and at-risk shelter animals. Each dog in our care lives in a loving foster home and receives full medical attention before being matched with a permanent family.

We also strive to raise awareness about the importance of compassion and responsible pet ownership. By providing adopters with quality education and support, we ensure each adoption is successful and lasting. We don’t measure success in numbers—but in the positive, life-changing impact we make for both animals and the families who welcome them home.
