Lizzie came to us after her owner was moving and couldn't take her, little did we know that Lizzie would be having 4 gorgeous babies soon after her arrival!! Even at her very young age, Lizzie showed herself to be an excellent mom, her babies grew healthy, happy and so playful! Her babies are all adopted, now it's her turn! Lizzie is barely one year old, super playful, super social , gets along with the other mom cats here at the annex. She is NOT at the shelter, she is in foster care in New City and can be visited by appointment. She is used to all household noises, vacuums don't bother her a bit! We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals.
