My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Midknight!

Midknight is a shy, sensitive boy learning how to trust the world around him. When you first meet him, he may seem aloof or uncertain-hes the kind of dog who watches quietly from the sidelines until hes ready to say hello. But give him time, patience, and a few tasty treats, and hell begin to show you his sweet, thoughtful nature.

Midknight is still figuring out that the world isnt so scary. He can be nervous on leash and pulls when something catches his interest (especially good smells!), but hes learning. Walks in quiet areas and gentle encouragement help him feel safe. He prefers doing things at his own pace, and thats okay-hes not here to impress anyone but the people willing to love him as he is.

In the play yard, Midknight enjoys simply observing the world. He doesnt bark at passing dogs and shows polite curiosity, though he can get overstimulated if they get too close too fast. He seems more comfortable with adults and would thrive in a calm, understanding home that allows him to decompress and blossom in his own time.

Midknight isnt the type to beg for attention or play fetch on day one-but he is the kind of dog who, after some quiet moments and shared space, will come over just to sit by you and ask for a treat. That little moment of connection is worth everything.

If youre the kind of person who finds beauty in slow trust, who doesnt need instant affection, and who understands that some dogs just need a little more time to feel safe-you might be the person Midknights been waiting for.
