My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Im Proton, the Puppy Princess. You can find me on Instagram: @Protonthepuppyprincess to see more photos. I was found emaciated and dirty, with eyes that told my humans I had a lot of love to give. Despite my circumstances, Ive convinced my humans I am the sweetest, most eager to please girl who loves to be picked up, cuddled, and snuggled. I just learned sit and my humans say I can be trained with food. My humans call me Duchess Lala because Im bougie, sassy, and I am the alpha in the house. Im a growing pup who enjoys playing with my bestie, fellow Lifeline foster, Nucleus. We LOVE our 2.5 mile Beltline daily walk and I vocalize my disappointment when I dont get enough exercise or attention.

Humans say I have no prey instinct and I have zero interest in the 5 cats who are my current roomies. But Nucleus, my bestie, and I play tug of war and love to steal toys from each other! I do worry about him taking my food though. So my humans feed my bestie and I together, but they watch us so we dont fight over food. My humans dont even get mad when I lie to them pretending I need to use the restroom just so I can soak up the sun outside or grab a new stick to chew on! The humans say I have a lot of personality.

Im still a puppy, so I can be mouthy and I like to jump when greeting people, but if you give me a toy, its no big deal. Im a big chewer, so the toys I prefer are made of more chew-resistant fabric and materials. My humans think I would make a wonderful puppy for someone who has cats, enjoys having a dog as a personal trainer, and enjoys a 50ish pound cuddle buddy laying across their body on the couch. I wont let you miss a morning walk for sure! But I also love Netflix afterwards! I can also stay in my crate while my humans have meetings. At night, I sleep in my crate in the same room as my bestie. Humans think I can be the equivalent of a pogo stick in the morning and they tell me my most equivalent Winnie the Pooh character would be Tigger. I go to the door and let them know when I need to go outside. My humans say Im a velcro dog but I dont mind when they run errands and leave me out of my crate. It reduces my separation anxiety and Im on my best behavior! Im super social and generally dont meet a stranger. Come meet me and see for yourself!
