Meet Huck!<br/>Huck is a sweet 6-year-old gentleman with a calm spirit and a heart full of love. This lower-energy boy is all about the simple things in life-easy strolls, quiet moments, and the joy of just being near his people.<br/><br/>Huck walks politely on leash and enjoys taking his time to sniff around and explore. He knows his basic commands and is a volunteer favorite for his gentle demeanor and affectionate nature once he feels comfortable.<br/><br/>He has lived with dogs before and recently entered his playgroup assessment calm and relaxed. While hes not looking for rowdy play, Huck is perfectly happy coexisting with a respectful canine friend. Today, he even surprised us by getting into a playful mood and briefly enjoying some toys!<br/><br/>Huck likes treats, though hes not super treat-motivated-he seems to prefer kind words and calm companionship.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a mellow, loving companion who appreciates a peaceful home and steady routine, Huck may be your perfect match.

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
