Dex is a 1-year-old pup with a goofy personality and a big heart. Hes gentle and easy on leash, perfectly potty trained, and has never met a dog he didnt like. Playful and social, Dex loves wrestling with dog friends, shredding toys, and learning all the best dog things. Hes a puppy still polishing his play manners, but hes eager to learn and responds well to guidance.<br/><br/>Dex is a medium-energy guy-happy to play, but just as happy to snuggle afterward. His cuddle meter is a solid 8/10, and he loves showing affection to his people. Hes interacted well with neighborhood kids on walks and would likely do well with kids ages 5 and up.<br/><br/>Dex has come a long way since entering the shelter underweight and sick. After time in foster care, hes now fully recovered, has gained healthy weight, and was recently neutered. Hell need a home ready to keep the food bowl full so he can continue thriving! <br/><br/>Dex is a resilient, lovable goofball whos ready to bring joy, playtime, and plenty of snuggles to his forever home!

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
