My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sarge!

Breed: Pug Mix
DOB: 9/22/2025 (very young puppy)
Weight: 5 pounds
Health: Healthy, vaccinated, and not neutered — though he’s thriving, it’s important to visit your own veterinarian soon after adoption to start his personal care.

Personality

Sarge is a tiny bundle of joy and mischief! Adventurous, playful, and endlessly curious, he loves exploring his world with wide-eyed wonder. After a day of zoomies and puppy antics, he’ll curl up in your lap for snuggles, soft snores, and gentle puppy kisses. Loyal and affectionate, Sarge has the perfect balance of fun and cuddles — a little pup with a huge heart.

Owner Responsibilities

  • Daily play, socialization, and gentle training

  • Supervised exploration for safety

  • Regular vet care, vaccinations, and preventive health

  • Lots of patience, love, and consistent routines

Things to Consider

  • Puppies need daily time for bonding, potty training, and play

  • Pet-friendly housing and landlord approval

  • Lifelong commitment to food, vet care, toys, and grooming

  • Stability in routine and lifestyle — puppies need consistency

  • Chewing, barking, and exploring are normal puppy behaviors

The 3-3-3 Rule

  • First 3 days: Everything is new — give Sarge space, comfort, and gentle reassurance

  • First 3 weeks: He’ll learn your home, routine, and family

  • First 3 months: Trust and attachment bloom — he knows he’s home

Why Sarge Would Be a Great Addition

Sarge is pure love in motion! His playful spirit and tiny snuggles will brighten every day. He’s ready to grow into a devoted companion who will fill your home with laughter, joy, and endless puppy kisses.
