Meet Kansas!
This adorable puppy is a survivor! He beat the odds and survived a deadly parvo infection. Thankfully the local shelter he arrived at quickly recognized the signs and got him safely to the ER. After 3 terrifying days, he turned the corner and has been vibrating with life ever since!
Kansas is fully potty trained and loves his doggie siblings. His foster home has both big and small dogs, and while he does really well with them, he does need slower introductions to new dogs. He would likely do best with a submissive sibling as he does like to be in charge! He does sleep in his kennel at night and [now] goes in without argument, but he certainly would prefer to sleep with his human if that was allowed.
Kansas is around 7-8 months old and has quite a bit of Puppy energy. He loves to play and can frequently be found roughhousing with the other dogs. He is still in that puppy face where he is learning boundaries, but has proven to be very smart at learning new commands!
The sweet little fellow will make an excellent dog for someone that has a fairly active lifestyle. well, he would prefer a fence in yard. It is not required as long as his future humans are dedicated to frequent exercise. Visit www.happyfeetpetrescue.com to submit an adoption application for this handsome fella!
