My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Harriett, A Survivor with a Heart of Gold 🐾

When we first found Harriett, she was lying right on the yellow line in the middle of the road, tired, alone, and in need of a miracle. Despite everything she’s been through, this gentle girl never lost her kind spirit.

The vet says Harriett has had puppies in her past, and it’s clear she has that nurturing, guardian heart. Now that she’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccinations, Harriett is ready to start a brand-new chapter, one where she gets to be the one cared for.

Harriett is calm, loyal, and watchful, the kind of dog who will keep an eye on her people and make sure everyone is safe and loved. She’s looking for a forever home where she can be that devoted guardian and cherished family member she was always meant to be.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who will stand by your side through anything, Harriett is waiting for you. 💛

More about this rescue

At Somebody to the Rescue, we believe that every individual has the power to make a difference. Too often, people assume that 'somebody else' will step in to help abandoned or neglected animals, but we know that each of us is that 'somebody.' Our mission is to take action, providing rescue, care, and homes for animals in need, and to inspire others to be the ones who step up when no one else will.
