Gus is a handsome, 5 month old American Staffordshire Terrier & American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He's a playful, cuddly fella looking for his best friend. He's crate trained, mostly house trained, good with other dogs (cats unknown) and kids. He's socialized and goes on outings with his foster mom and litter brother (Louie, also available for adoption). Who can so "no" to those mushy faces?

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
