If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mannon is an affectionate and playful young lady! She is 4 or 5 years old, and is originally a foster fail from a trap and release program.
Unfortunately, her time on the streets has left her extremely easy to startle and it manifests with redirected aggression towards any other cats. She does not seem to have a problem with our 45 pound dog and has stood up to him and accepted his presence as appropriate.
Because she is so easy to startle she would probably only do well in families with older children who can respect her space.
She does have a spinal injury that means she now needs to live indoors and needs help grooming her back, as she cannot reach it with her limited flexibility. Sometimes it manifests as a twitchy back leg but otherwise she is happy to run around inside.
Mannon is being rehomed because her human has passed away. While we love her warm personality, we want her to live in a home that doesn't involve feeling threatened be other cats.
