If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mannon is an affectionate and playful young lady! She is about 4 years old and was found on the streets. She is being rehomed because her owner passed away.
We've waited to place her to know her needs better and give her time to settle.
Her past has left her easy to startle, with redirected aggression towards other cats. She does not have a problem with our 45 pound dog, men, or quiet children as young as 6 who are educated about cats.
She does have a minor spinal injury (and missing tail) that means she needs help grooming her back, as she cannot reach it with her limited flexibility. So far it manifests as a twitchy back leg, but she is happy to run around inside and climb shorter cat trees.
While we love her warm personality, we want her to live in a home where she won't feel threatened by other cats. We'd also be happy to send some basics with her (bed, litter box, toys) since we understand that as an only cat home you may not have everything immediately on hand.
