My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Horatio, a sweet and friendly cat residing at our local shelter! His gentle and laid-back demeanor makes him the perfect companion for cozy afternoons and peaceful evenings. Horatio enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like a good nap in a sunny spot or a gentle scratch behind his ears. He`s known for his friendly purrs and calm presence, always ready to offer comfort with his soothing purrs. Horatio would make a wonderful addition to any home looking for a calm and loving feline friend!

Horatio has been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This disease is not curable, but he can still live a very long and healthy life! FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is unlikely to be spread through sharing of water bowls or other close contact. Friendly cats who develop stable relationships without fighting are at minimal risk of transmission, so slow introductions are highly recommended!
