Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Munchie, who is 6.5-year-old, is a rather independent guy. While living with a foster, he had been shy and it took a while for him to show his curiosity of the new environment and explore the house as well as demonstrate his playful side. He is willing to accept being petted & receiving limited attention but he is not a lap cat.
In his foster home he has been friendly enough with the dogs but is a bit of a bully to the other cats. His rection to new cats may just be a reaction being in a new environment. He is OK with children. Munchie was surrendered after living in a household with both cats & dogs when his owner decided to move out of state so we feel a slow introduction to friendly cats may be OK.
Munchie is a big boy and is on a reduced calorie cat food to help him shed some weight. He is a short hair brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped.
Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time.
If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below:
From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/
A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form.
